Sick leave and acting
Daya Nayak....once poster boy of B'bay crime branch....got into all sorts of controversy.....moved out of crime branch to much low profile job.

Story has it that he has been sick leave for 6 months but actively engaged in helping a Kannada movie based on his life.

I am sure that movie is going to be blast it has the best in every department you can imagine. Tabloid king and ace mafia journalist Ravi Belagere has written the screen play and there other stalwarts involved too.

Appeas like Daya Nayak is really working closely with the directors and making sure that some of the important things are as real as possible.

His involvement in helping other movies also well known. Best among them was 'Ab Tak Chappan'.
