"If it is butter outside and gutter inside, it is no good" - Adam Bedi talking abt what kind of girls he likes..

====
ADAM BEDI, Model

I believe that the personality of a girl is what's most important. However, a great pair of legs is what I'd go for. It's the shape of the leg that's important and not
how long or short they are. While you can cos metically enhance all your other body parts, you cannot fake the legs. The same goes for the personality. If it's butter outside and gutter inside, it's no good.

Buffalo addicted to BBC
After drunken bear, now it's buffalos turn to do something crazy......simply hilarious.....

===
This buffalo is addicted to BBC (TOI)

RANCHI: This is the tale of a buffalo that simply refuses to be milked without its daily dose of BBC!

And it's not quite the British broadcaster that the animal is addicted to but khaini - a form of chewing tobacco that is popularly called " buddhi bardhak choorn ", or BBC, in Jharkhand.

For its owner Mangra Munda, a resident of Lohardagga district, the addiction has turned into a headache. For along with fodder, he has to shell out plenty of tobacco.

His buffalo demands the chewing tobacco six times a day and makes life difficult if it doesn't get adequate amounts.

"If we fail to provide chewing tobacco on time then it becomes horrible.

"The buffalo's strong urge for tobacco makes it wild and it can do anything for khaini . It starts to break the rope it is tethered with," Munda said.

"If it is not tethered, it smells out people consuming khaini and follows them around.

"Sometimes it wanders off quite a few kilometres and returns only after consuming some of it."

Munda himself does not know how the buffalo developed the habit.

"I came to know about its love for tobacco when I saw it snatching khaini from a person who was preparing it.

"I then asked the previous owner of the animal and he confirmed its addiction."

In fact, the buffalo does not like raw tobacco, but prefers it the way most people make it - by rubbing it between the palm and the thumb with some lime.

"It has become a headache for me. I have to prepare tobacco for her despite the fact that I do not take it myself.

"I am desperately looking for a buyer, but most people have come to know of her great love for BBC!" said Munda.

A Thought for the Day From Sri Eknath Easwaran
----------------------------------------------

February 20

I tell you one thing: if you want peace of mind, do not find fault
with others. Rather learn to see your own faults. Learn to make
the whole world your own. No one is a stranger, my child; this
whole world is your own. - Sri Sarada Devi

When we get even the slightest glimpse of the unity of life, we
realize that in tearing others down we are tearing ourselves down
too. When you sit in judgment on other people and countries and
races, you're training your mind to sit in judgment on yourself.
As we forgive others, we are teaching the mind to respond with
forgiveness everywhere, even to the misdeeds and mistakes of
our own past.

A Thought for the Day From Sri Eknath Easwaran

February 19

Peace is not the absence of war. It is a virtue, a state of mind,
a disposition for benevolence, confidence, and justice. - Spinoza

"He insulted me, he cheated me, he beat me, he robbed me" - those
who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace. - The Buddha

Resentment is nothing more than compulsive attachment to a set of
memories. If you could peek through the window of the mind when you
feel resentful, you would see a production line turning out the same
emotion-charged memory over and over: "He did that to me in 1983, he
did that to me in 1983 . . ." You are dwelling on something that took
place in the past -- or, more likely, on how you misunderstood that
event and reacted to your misunderstanding.

When you keep pumping attention into an event in this way, a limp
little memory gets blown up into a big balloon of hostility. When you
withdraw your attention by repeating the mantram, the balloon is
deflated. It's as simple as that.

Bear on high:)
Drunken Bear....Hilarious.....:) FRom Star of Mysore news paper....

BEAR BEARS THE BRUNT OF HEADY STUFF

Ooty, Feb. 10 (DN)- Whoever said man can not befriend a beast of an animal. Here is the actual, at the same time, a funny incident where a grizzly bear came to one coolie's house, drinks his liquor and sleeps with him. Literally!

Raman, a 40-year old coolie in a village in the district here was all alone one day and to kill his loneliness, went out at 8.30 pm to have a drink as usual. After heaving one peg two many, Raman comes inebriated and sleeps on his cot forgetting to lock the front door.

His small adobe was close to a forest and a grizzly bear, which came out of the forest area for a change, looked things around in the village and found the door of a house ajar. Bear, usually a curious animal, sneaked into a house with barely a whimper to see what it is all about. That was the house, our poor Raman was snoring to his glory, drunk enough to miss the visit of this hairy bear.

The bear cooly ate some vegetables and fruits kept under the cot. As the bear was having its dinner in an unusual place, Raman got up at mid-night only to want to have another session of drinks. He gets down from the cot, locks the door from outside and heads to the liquor joint. All this while, the bear was watching Raman without blinking its eyes confused what to do next. The bear goes to the door, scratches with his claws and finding it not opening comes back to munch the tasty vegetables. After a little while, our Raman comes back home with a bottle of liquor in his hands. No, he did not fetch the bottle to treat his bear friend.

Once inside, he fails to notice the bear sitting quietly under the cot munching vegetable. So, he opens the bottle, takes a peg and finding it enough for the night, places the half-full bottle on the floor and hits the sack.

This was when the bear's curiosity got compounded as to what was happening. Seeing the man flat on his bed, the bear stops eating vegetables and comes out and while walking around the room, spills the bottle.

The bear must have seen a man, a house and everything about vegetables and fruits but not a bottle of liquor since they have no bar and restaurants opened for them in a forest. While wondering what the bottle contained, the bear decides to have a go and taste it and lo! Before it could realise the intoxication, it totteringly walks to the cot, climbs and sleeps next to our poor Raman.

The next morning Raman had the scare of his life. He opened his eyes and sees a lump of wool next to him. He could not make out what it was. He rubbed his eyes, which were still hazy after a night of heavy booze, and in no time jumped out of his bed and ran out for life screaming bear! bear!

The neighbours, who heard the screams, came to his help and shooed the bear away. The poor bear, which had the drinking session late in the night, was still feeling tipsy and walked out of its host's house, swaying with the nasha of liquor!

Raman might be an ordinary coolie but thanks to his friend from the forest, the grizzly bear, he is now the talk of the town who had a beast of an animal as a visitor!

Meera Borwankar.....
I have been a big admirer of high achieving women....I have mentioned about high profile CEOs like Cary Fiorina, Meg Whitmann, Carol Baratz....etc....

How about our own "desi" executive.....

Meet....Meera Borwankar...first woman....IPS officer to decorate the coveted post of Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) ......B'bay....when I googled on her....I was simply imrpressed....what a story....

Small town girl....rose to one of the most celebrated post in Indian Police due her sheer hardword, tenacity and grit......

You need to know something abt crime branch and its operations to appreciate the toughness it demands....

Hats off to Meera and good luck to her when she takes on underworld menace.....

Cheers!
